I was looking for an easy trip this weekend...something with roaming potential. We decided to head out to Teanaway Ridge since it's always a good standy this time of year.

We parked near the gate (elev 4815') that seems like a good starting point for me. There were two other cars parked there (we didn't see anyone else out on the trail all day). We were blessed with cooler than expected temperatures and sunny blue sky. Just like last weekend out at Dirtyface LO, the mozies are out and they are hungry. Right at the TH we decided to put on some bug juice.

There are still plenty of flowers out (lupine, balsamroot, larkspur).

The road (from Hwy 97 all the way up to the gate to where we parked, is freshly graded. The road is in really nice shape.
