We wanted and easy backpack. Something central for us as I was coming up from just north of Seattle, Jen was local to the greater Mt Baker area, and the third person was coming down from Vancouver, BC.

We met at the Artist Point parking area and polished off the packing and then started the very easy hike around the south side of Table Mtn and then over to Galena Chain Lakes (Iceberg Lake, Hayes Lake, and Arbuthnet Lake). We settled on a campsite near Hayes Lake.

We spent the afternoon wandering around...

The clear night sky made for fun night rambles. Morning came and we spent a few more hours wandering around, taking photos, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
