Gear: nothing special

Area: Ellensburg

Stats: 9.7mi, 1607' gain (for the loop)

This is tick and rattlesnake heaven. Lovely area though.

Lots and lots of flowers out this time of year. The typical desert type like the hedgehog cactus and bitterroot. But also the colorful lupine, balsamroot, penstemon and big headed clover.

Careful of the rattlers on this trip!
