An annual (at the time) trip out to Boulder River on New Years Eve to saw out some big logs!

Lots of fun. A GREAT way to spend the last day of the year.

Boulder River is within Wilderness boundaries so it was time to pull out the cross cut saws and get to work. It's a good chance to have fun doing work to keep our trails open.

Best part is setting the logs free and watching, and hearing, them crash down into the gorge below.

The bonus is it is just plain fun to visit one of the prettiest trails around that is one of the few that can be hiked year round without too much threat of snow.
