Mowich Lake is a great Winter trip. It's fun to snowshoe the road, the views of the snow covered lake, trees, and patrol cabin are nice. This area is PACKED in the summer since you can drive nearly all the say to the lake, there is a very busy campground there. In the Winter, the place is deserted.

Kim and I hiked, snowshoed really, to the lake. Had lunch atop a picnic table covered with several feet of snow.

Watch out for the camprobbers (jays)...they'll steal your lunch. Kim was warned...she didn't believe me until she lots her sandwich...
